I want to say no, but thinking about it you could work it into a real hippie-60's/70's look. Like the crochet type tops and bell bottomy jeans type look. That's the only way I see it working outside of winter, because it's kind of snow-bunny looking.

It actually reminded me of the Vikings, and I really don't know why. I agree with Drew - I think it's tough but it could probably be done - the braided rope handle is big this summer too.

Nah I wouldn't. It looks very wintery, and although I don't believe in Strict Fashion Rules, I don't think it would fit the mood of all the great springy and summery items.
