it's a service linked through u-haul's website that lists contractors in different cities that you can hire on an hourly basis to help you load and unload your moving truck. it looks really cool and i think i'm going to go ahead and book through them, but just wondering if anyone here had any experiences they could share. thanks.
i haven't personally used them, but i do know someone who has (moving NYC to Atlanta) and they have nothing but great things to say about it. it sounds like a pretty good set-up. movers just don't seem to care about your stuff and it sounds like this emove.com service gets people that are a little different than your, ahem, average movers. (i.e. people who are just looking to make some extra money on the weekend, kind of like a bunch of your friends who you promise to buy beer after, but who don't want to mess up your belongings)
yeah, it definitely looks like it's people who have small independent side-businesses. it gives reviews from customers for each crew on the website. i think i'm just going to go ahead and go for it.
