STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the pics!  I need to take some pictures of what I bought. I'll add those to here.  I had a shirt made for 20 bucks!  I picked material and they took the measurements and had it made the next day.  The guys I was with bought like 6 each they were so thrilled with the price.

The people were all very nice.  I was scared that they would hate me because I'm american but there were so few "white" people most places we went I think I was more of a novelty and they just stared and smiled. 

Most of the guys in the office wore somewhat western outfits (the colors they put together were so funny).  The girls varried widely...I think it depends on where they are from in India.  Most would wear the Salwars and western outfits on friday.  A lot wore the salwar top (long tunic) with jeans which I thought was so cute.  I bought one simple salwar to wear like that and to wear over my swimsuit.

I dressed in pants and long sleeved shirts even though it got close to 90 most days.  I didn't want to be disrespectful but also it was to keep mosquitos away!
