i didn't wear the sneakers but i totally rocked the black sandals. i remember how the made the most annoying SMACK SMACK SMACK as you would walk down the halls. my sorority sisters HATED anyone with those shoes!!!

I had a closed toe version of those first platforms for my HS uniform, as did every other girl at my HS. They certainly did smack quite a bit. I also wiped out on the school floor a few times.

I also desperately wanted a pair of the second in middle school but my mom wouldn't cave. So sad.

I never wore the slides because I hated the noise they made but I wore the sneakers. Actually, now that I think about it, those were pretty much the only shoes I ever wore. I bought the super cheap version from Wal Mart and would replace them when they started to get dirty.

All my friends had the black ones and I always wanted them but never bought them (thank God!). I think my sister might actually still have a pair in her closet but she never wears them. Also guilty of the white sneakers. Sigh...

I can honestly say that I have no recollection of anyone wearing white shoes like that, I must have missed that one.

I remember the black slides well tho. I had a red pony skin pair.

I didn't have the sandals but the white shoes I did! They made me feel taller, I remember I got the Sketchers from one of those teen catalogs I used to order from (Delias, Alloy, Girlfriends La)
