ive got a movie recommendation: fishing with john.

it's the funniest thing ive ever seen in my whole entire life, and i am not exagerating in the slightest. it's these fifteen minute (or so) little stories of john lurie fishing in different places with different celebrities and these hysterical voiceovers about what they're doing and the fish they are fishing and the places they are at. it's incredibly dry, witty humor. but i highly suggest checking it out, here's the synopsis from the criterion collection website:

John Lurie knows absolutely nothing about fishing, but that doesn’t stop him from undertaking the adventure of a lifetime on Fishing With John. Traveling with his special guests to the most exotic and dangerous places on earth, John Lurie battles sharks with Jim Jarmusch off the tip of Long Island, goes ice fishing with Willem Dafoe at Maine’s northernmost point, braves the Costa Rican jungle with Matt Dillon, takes Tom Waits to Jamaica, and searches for the elusive giant squid with Dennis Hopper in Thailand.

anyway...this movie is awesome...i give it like a billion thumbs up. go watch it. now.
