What to wear with these navy cargos?

I bought these cargos today in navy (no picture of the navy, sorry) - I really want the green but they didn't have my size. They are really flattering on & only $12.86. I haven't owned navy pants in years & have no idea what to wear with them - ideas? Can I wear my ballet flats? I'd like to wear them shopping tomorrow & I need comfy shoes - it's also supposed to be chilly so I don't want to wear open toe shoes & I'll wear them full length, not cropped like shown. Help.

ETA: I have every color tee imaginable, but will that make it entirely too casual? I'm thinking pink....(brown, olive green?)

without seeing your ballet flats, i would think that they would look great with the pants rolled down, and with them up once it gets warmer outside.


pinks would look great, as well as greens. im not sure about brown or olive though. yellow would look really pretty, as well as purpley shades too.


if you're worried about casualness with the plain tshirts, why not try a fancy/girly beaded necklance to spice things up?

Pink would look great. What color are your flats? A lot of colors go with navy imo. And like relrel said you could always spice itup with a cute necklace.

Well, i have 4 colors of ballet flats but I was thinking gold because I'm spending the night out & they would go with my outfit tomorrow too. I may just pass today because I'm in a rush (oh, big rush & I'm playing on ST) & play with outfits next week. Thanks guys!
