I don't know where to start. I am looking for big black or brown tortoise shades ... designer ... maybe around $200 or less ... give or take ... something classic that I could wear for a long time!
At $240 I know these are a bit more than you want to spend, but I LOOOOOOOVE mine and I think they're totally worth the price. They're the Oliver Peoples Athena and they come in both black and tortoise. I got the tortoise but I had a really hard time choosing between the tortoise and the black.
And so you can get an idea of what they look like on, here's Jessica in a green pair and a lighter brown pair.
i love my chanel 5030's. they're a bit logoy (i think i just made up a word)..but they're big but not too big. i've had a pair for three years (ok, i had to replace the first pair due to drunkness at the NJ shore )...but i feel like they are classic, even when huge bug sunglasses became big.
i like those oliver peoples glasses too. another option is...i bought some $75 BCBG ones last year that i use when i'm kayaking, fishing, or doing anything that may ruin my nicer sunglasses.
