Need dresses outfits for retirement party weekend

I realize that title is a little funny, but anyway, my bf and i are going out to Chicago bc his parents are retiring and having a party. Here is a dress I bought for day time (there is a lunch/brunch) and I was going to wear this. Do you guys have any suggestions for something I can wear in the evening?

This cardigan.. but I'm going to leave it open and not wrap it.

I haven't really been looking at dresses yet but need one pretty soon. Any suggestions would really help me out.

Also has anyone seen a cheaper version of this lovely See by Chloe dress?

i really like the first outfit, and adore the vanessa bruno. for evening are you set on black or would you consider other colors? here's some stuff i found

honey i'm laughing at this because you wrote "too saturday night fever".. the reason why i'm laughing is because i have a dress seriously exactly like this but it's purple/silver metallic!! lol... i got to bust that out of the closet. but i love the satine picks! thanks for the links!
