How are you girls planning to wear the shoe?

I just bought these, got sent the wrong size, but am contemplating squeezing my poor feet into them. I tried several items with them last night and nothing seemed to look right.

I also bought the jessica simpson pair with the sling back and peep toe. They are exactly the same as the Barb (the Loubotin knock off), and I am not sure which pair to keep. what do you guys think?

i just got mine from my nordstroms yesterday and they told me that they are shipping on monday to me.  thats strange that they told you May.

i am not sure what i plan on wearing mine with yet.  but i have lusted over them for so long that i'll probably go back and look at celeb outfits and see if anything strikes me to copy.


i do have a fantasy of me wearing them (with really tan legs) and my denim chip&pepper knee length skirt, layered tanks of white and red and some long black beaded necklaces...

i'd call them back! i called nordies and they located a pair for me that's coming next week! just make sure to call in the morning when they're not totally frazzled/dying.


Karina, I'm planning on wearing them with cuffed jeans to show them off, all my knee length skirts, and if I don't look like a hooker/trend whore, I may wear them with my shorts and tights. I'll make them both dressy and casual.


I have fantasies of wearing them with bermudas and layered tank tops, but it's so not a good look on me.

ETA: I should note that my actual shoe size (as in when I get my shoe measured with the metal thing) is a 7D (double wide), which is why I have to size up to 7.5/8 in the first place.

I ordered the pump because the store was out of the slingback in my size, but I am seriously contemplating the slingbacks. Do you have pictures of them on your foot so we could do a poll?? This is for purely selfish reasons


Sorry to go O/T. I plan on wearing mine with skinny jeans that bunch around the ankle but still shows them off, I also have a denim pencil skirt for the Stella H&M collection that would probably go...I have seen it on celebrities paired with dresses. Can't wait to get them so I can play around.

TTS, IMO. I am usually a 7.5/8 with wide feet and am getting these shoes in a 7.5. If my feet were more narrow, I could've gone down to a 7 since there was some space left at the toes in a 7.5..


I know that on ebay, a lot of people are saying the shoes run small.


rar210: I walked in them for 5 minutes or so last Saturday and they are not painful at all IMO. I'm fairly used to heels and these were among the more comfy that I've tried on lately. The padding is good considering the price point and the shoes don't rub any parts of my feet weirdly.

i would say there are running TTS if a little small.  I ended going up a 1/2 size because the front was crushing my toes together a bit too much for me to handle.  I'll probably have to put some of the heel guards in the 6 1/2 size but it was much more comfy for me.


i wear 2 1/2' or higher heels everyday- so to me, these were comfy.

Buyers beware!! The shoes run SMALL! I wear a size 5, and in Nine West shoes a 5 is usually a little big. But these are tight-not long but tight... Plus they are narrow, and they hurt! The heel is 4 inches high, made of cork which makes them light. But for whatever reason, and I have narrow feet, the shoes hurt on the top of the foot, where the shoes curves over the toes....

Sorry ladies, but I have both the slingback and the closed toe pump, and the slingback is ssooooooo comfortable compared to the other one. But as I said I can't decide which ones to keep. Style vs Comfort??? I wll take a picture and post it so you guys can help.

I am going to try to find a size 5.5 to see if that helps....with the tightness.

JS does make shoes in a 5-but only certain big name buyers such as Nordstroms can get them. That is where I got mine...

My feet are 6.5 or 7 and I went with a 7 on these. I have the JS Amys (slingbacks) in black and red patent. I wore the red pair for about half an hour while making dinner last week, and they weren't too uncomfortable. If you want to see them on, I have a post in thread style where I'm wearing the red ones. HTH someone!

I am so glad I ended up buying two sizes!  I almost just bought my regular size...and ended up getting the next up as well.  I don't know if I can wait 5 days to get them!!!

Did you have them do a store search?I was able to locate a pair Friday.


They are being shippe dto me from a store in Oregon (Nordstrom's)
