C Ronson wedges?
Permalink Closed

So, I've been in love with these sandals since last year.  But I have a few questions:  1)  Are they comfortable?  2)  Is there any place that sells them where I could use a coupon code?  They're $145 on www.flipfloptrunkshow.com, but it'd be much better if I could use a coupon code and get them cheaper.  Any ideas?

they are  so comfortable. i have last year's version (almost the same) in both brown and white, i wore them practically every day last spring/summer. i bought the brown full price, but then i bought my white ones new on ebay for around $30. keep your eye out on ebay, they pop up consistently. they run about a half size small, fyi.

I have the ones from last year but I definitely disagree with mara about the comfort factor. For me, these. shoes. are. torture. They're fine if you're going to dinner or something or if you're going to be sitting for most of the day, but if you have to walk any substantial amount of distance......ouch! If I remember correctly, I wasn't the only person who had problems with them. You may want to do a search because a lot of girls bought them last year.

ETA: Actually, I think it's a split on this. I couldn't remember exactly what other people said about them so I did a search. Some people said they were really comfortable and others had problems with them. If you get them I recommend wearing them around the house a lot before going outside so you can still return them if they don't work for you.

I have last year's version and they are seriously the most uncomfortable pair of shoes that I have ever worn.  I have probably worn them about 3 times because my feet can't handle blisters.

i ordered them last year but had to return them...they felt way too high for me and they just kept rubbing my feet in the wrong place. i don't know if that was just my feet, though? i was sad b/c they are so cute! but i needed something that i could wear all the time and i knew i would fall down a lot. oh, and for some reason the wedge felt unnecessarily heavy, or something?

so i just googled them and saw these on sale (styles from last year), limited sizes available though: http://www.nessaleestyle.com/Shop/Manufacturer.cfm?Manufacturer=C%2E%20Ronson&OrderNumber=110025290400

Thanks for the feedback ladies!  Looks like I won't be getting them.  Bummer, cuz they're super cute, but I'm thinking I can find something just as cute, more comfortable, and cheaper.

Geez, sometimes I don't know what I'd do without this board!!!

Me too.  Actually, mine are in almost perfect condition so I'm gonna sell mine on Ebay, but I almost feel bad inflicting the pain and suffering on some unknowing soul...

i tried to wear them once and they were wayyyyyyyyyy  too small.  i think they run two sizes too small.  i decided not even to wear them once, to sell them on ebay and i sold them for $120!

I agree with this. HATE those things!

I wasn't even mad at my puppy when he chewed on them last year! :)

You're not...I tried on these and the cage style ones from last year and thought they were nothign but super-comfy. I haven't walked far in them though so I can't attest to the rubbing.
