Juicing machine

Does anyone know anything about these?  I am thinking of getting one. I hear they're a great tool to help you get healthier.  I want a good one that all I need to do is toss the fruit/Veggie in and it takes care of the rest, i.e. takes the skin off, gets rid of the seeds, etc.  Anyway if anyone knows anything about juicers I'd love to hear your thoughts.  Also I hear Bead Bath and Beyond has good ones.  If anyone knows where to get coupons please let me know.

I don't know the name, but one of my exs bought the one from the infomercial with the old guy. He was so excited about it, but soon found out it was a piece of junk. So, I don't recommend that one!

I had one too & it was awesome. I know it sounds sick but my ex & I were drinking apple carrot juice every morning. It was hard to get used to but once I did it was addictive. We had a serious machine - like a $250 one - I'll try to find it if you want me too. If that is the kind of juicing you are going to be doing you need one with a really good blade. But I personally think that's a lot to pay unless you know for sure you are going to like the juice & use it all of the time.

I'm totally willing to pay the $$.  I want a really great one.  I would love to know which one you think is great!

Sophie, I really can't find the one that I had but it was a lot like the Breville ones. The process sounds the same & it had separate compartments for the pulp vs the actual juice.

I must admit that I'm curious / intrigued by the Omega, but I can't imagine that it could hold the amount of "waste" that comes from making something like carrot / apple juice unless it's bigger than I'm imagining.

I have also heard awful things about the Jack La Lanne one. aka aclassicbeauty's "infomercial old guy" reference!

I'm sorry I can't be of more help. It's sad to know that a kitchen appliance i owed is obsolete for all practical purposes - makes me feel old! But these new ones like it look smaller & sleeker, such is the way of things I guess.

Thanks! I think I am going to go for the Breville Elite (? I think that's what it's called). I'm really excited about it just wish I could find a coupon for BB&B. 20% off $300 makes a sizable diffrence.

My bf went to Macy's and bought the same one. I think it was called the Juiceman or something. Well, it broke after being used twice. He took it back and got one that was $$ ( I *think* it's a Breville one) but it's still going strong.
