Do you ever find that packing for a weekend trip is harder than packing for a full vacation? I always over-pack. We are going away this weekend so I'm trying really hard not to.
Does this sound like enough? Friday we are driving, Saturday and Sunday in Vancouver, Monday skiing and Tuesday driving all day. So I am bringing...
-ski clothes & jacket -1 pair of jeans -1 pair of pants -1 pair of sweats for in the car -a couple of ts -a couple of tanks -1 sweater -1 pair of boots, 1 pair of shoes
Its been about 50 F and rainy in Vancouver. We don't expect to do anything fancy so I don't need dressy clothes. Just visiting some friends, eating out and shopping. Have I packed ok?
i thought you weren't going into vancouver? that you didn't feel like going, or am i just confused?
anyway...sounds good, do you need two sweaters though? or maybe instead of a sweater, two cardigans or two threequarter sleeve shirts? im just thinking that id be cold with only tshirts, even if it is in the fifties.

I am the queen of overpacking, so I may be no help...but I would add a lightweight sweater or long sleeve tee, since it will be in the 50's in Vancouver, plus you might want something to wear if you go out to dinner after skiing. Then I would eliminate the pair of pants, since one pair of jeans can be worn with everything.
I'd bring a lightweight rain jacket if you have one. If it were me I'd probably just bring jeans that can be dressed up or down and wear them the whole time.
How long is the drive between Vancouver and Calagary?
