going out clothes-help

okay, i'm haven't been out in a while.  I really haven't bought any "going out clothes" in a while.  I'm going out this weekend and I want something new to wear.  Not too casual not too dressy.  I actually would like to wear some jeans and a cute top w/a  jacket or something.  My favorite stores are Gap, Ann Taylor Loft, Express.  Any ideas suggestions? TIA!

hey cuz, so glad you joined this great board I will come back in a while and see what I can find but iam sure these fashionable ladies can help. Oh BTW how did the last outfit work out for you?

Hey girl!  Yes, I like this site!  Thanks for letting me know about it!  I'm going to St. Louis this weekend and just need something to wear w/my jeans!  I have just a few things I could wear, but everything just seems so...just not fresh and new.  I'm going shopping and I can't wait!  The last outfit is working well.  I have a white tank that I've paired w/ my denim jacket and a black cardigan sweater.  I am wearing the denim jacket w/ some brown boots and the black sweater w/ some black wedge sandles.  I really love the pants and am thinking about going back to Kohls and getting them in tan or a darker brown.
