What does "dh" mean?

I know this is probably a stupid question and when I find out the answer I am going to feel like a stooge. I have no idea what "dh" stands for. I assume the "h" is for husband, but what is the "d"? Thanks.

Some ppl say it stands for "dear husband"; others say it's "darling husband."

Once when I was talking about something on ST my dh was like "what does dh mean?"  and I said darling husband.  He was like "hey, that sounds pretty sarcastic to me."  I think he's on to us.

I am so glad someone asked this question.  I've been wondering the same thing.  I figured it was something hubby related...but all i could think about what designated hitter...so I always read "designated hubby" in my head.
