Thanks everyone for the compliments--they certainly made me smile (and blush).  Lucy is a very happy baby generally, and she makes us so happy as a family (okay sorry to be cheesy, but it's true).


FP--Yes, our crib is black.  We painted it to match the armoire in her room.
