valenciana: you are not alone!  i am obsessed w.grape nuts! i love all the different tastes and textures from the time you pour the milk in to the time it gets all mushy. Mmmmm.

i love grape nuts...it's just so hard to eat. crunch, crunch, crunch, my jaw starts to ache before im half way through the bowl. and dude...what's up with the neverending bowl? have you ever noticed that grape nuts seem to muliply in the bowl so not matter how much you eat, the bowl is still full?

i discovered grape nut 'O's a while back...tasted just like grape nuts but without the jaw numbing crunching. but they are super hard to find and possibly don't make them anymore.

For healthy cereal, I like Kashi Go Lean Crunch or Puffins cereal. I like good old Raisin Bran too. For the unhealtheir cereals I like Cookie Crisp or Honey Grahams (?) I forgot what they're called but I used to get it all the time when I was living in the dorms during college.

I don't eat cereal like I use to but I do like:

Healthy:

  • Honey Nut Cheerios

Real, taste good cereals:

  • Fruit Loops
  • Corn Chex
  • Those puffed yellow ones, forget what they're called
  • Lucky Charms (real and the store brand)

ahem, i agree with the kashi go lean...it's super tasty. however, the go lean has been banned from the relrel household due to its tendency to increase gaseous exchanges betwixt the colon and the atmoshere. it makes us fart, and it smells baaaad.

LOL! I know, I guess I don't really eat any healthy cereals. I tried Grape Nuts once, but man - they didn't soften up in the milk, no matter how long I let it sit! LOL How about oatmeal, does that count as a healthy cereal? I LOVE oatmeal, w/milk and...... sugar.

As long as it's REAL oatmeal and not the instant, flavored stuff in packets...then yes that counts.

It's my favorite too!  I swear if I eat it every day it keeps me from gaining weight.  Good thing I like it so much!

Right now I am on a multi-grain cheerios kick.

For sugary cereals, I loooove Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch.  But I have to eat like 12 bowls to be full.

I love cereal.  I think I could live on the stuff, except I don't really like any of the healthy kinds.

Healthy: Raisin Bran

Fun Cereal: Golden Grams, Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, captain crunch, oh there are too many to list.

Favorite cereal that has been discontinued: its a tie between Hidden Treasures and Star Wars cereal, it was a limited edition when episode 2 came out...They brought it back out as Shrek cereal...

ok I finally tried the strawberry version of the yogurt burst cheerios. It's pretty good but I think I'll go back to the vanilla.
