taverniti so jeans (lynnie?)

A newish store in my neighborhood got in the Taverniti So jeans and I have to say these are the first jeans I've been excited about in a long long time (especially in an era where it seems like Paige jeans are being shoved down my throat at every boutique )

So, do we like? They're $198.

Sorry this pic is so gigantic and not so attractive of the model.

have those.  Love them.  Are they the janis?

I personally am not a trendy jeans person- don't care for True Religion, Rock and Republics, etc. but for some reason, these just...fit so well I couldn't say no.  The butt pockets were cute on the body, not garish.  I did get mine with a code though.  Have you tried them on yet?  My only complaint is the rise is kind of low- i usually wear a belt.

They are the Janis...I just adore the detailing.

I did try them on and was shocked at how well they fit...they're actually a bit looser through the lower thing than I'm used to, which will probably prevent so much of the knee bunch I get with most jeans because they're always tight.

The rise is low, but I've been wearing my True Religions for so long that I was desensitized by it. I have a short torso and need all the lengthening I can get.

Have they washed/worn well?

yea, they have.  I've only washed them a few times though- i tend to wear my jeans for a while before washing them.  I still think they are great.  They are really nice quality- it makes me want another pair- this pair- but I worry that it might be too similar?  What do you think?  Are they too trendy?
