yay! fun dress purchases with code

So I used that Lucky code (luckymag) at polkadots and moonbeams and picked up 3 spring summer dresses and saved like $100 (total about 300 including shipping)! I am still nervous about getting my size right, but we'll see. Any accessorizing ideas welcome.

I like the first one the best, it looks the most "dc-ish".

Thanks, girls! Funny how everyone's so into the first dress - it was actually the one I waffled on, maybe b/c it's so much like things I already own and I am trying to change my style a little.  But in the end I knew I could resort to it if I needed a "comfort zone" dress.

I completely love the third b/c of the retro flowers and the smocking - it is my favorite of the 3. And the 2nd blue one - you can't tell from the pic, has ribbing at the cuffs and waist - it just looks really flattering and nicely made, and something I could wear to work or out to dinner.

Anyway, if anyone has ideas for accessorizing, would love to hear them.

It's from March, but it still works (which makes sense, given that we're IN March.  But other sites have been weird about that since the mag comes out a month early).

I am glad you like the dress (and $78 plus 25% off!) - I am thinking of edging it up a bit with some cool earrings.  I don't want to play it too girly...

i don't think it's too too girly.  what kind of shoes are you planning to wear with it? i'm trying to figure out if i could get away with it at work, in a business casual environment, or if it's just too weekend-y with the knit fabric.  what do you think?

i have a long-sleeve silk dress in this same style from la redoute this past fall, and i've gotten a surprising amount of wear out of it.  that style is so flattering and comfortable on me.
