Got this dress, but haven't worn it yet b/c I don't feel like I have the right shoes.  Argh.  What are your ideas for work and also for going out?

For night I'd really like to do these earrings, maybe with my hair in some sort of sleek knot or something... but not sure if it's too much.  And then what shoes for night?  Would silver shoes be too much?  It's just such a strong pattern I don't want to be gaudy, but I don't want to sell the dress short by being overcautious, either.

I think my small black YSL mombasa bag (the one with the horn/silver handle) would be good for evening as far as handbags.

this is just my opinion, but i wouldn't worry about being overcautious. i think letting the dress speak for itself is nice, with understated shoes (classic black pumps, or maybe boots?)

i like the earrings and bag you have paired with the dress...

I'm picturing pointy slingbacks - IIRC you have black Manolo slings, no?

I agree w/erin, I LOVE that dress, it's absolutely GORGEOUS! It would def. speak for itself, no doubt, so I like how you're doing subtle pieces w/it. Good job.
