Anyone have these two anthro tops? They are on sale for 59.95 each. I have been watching them for awhile now- to see if they will go down again- but, it doesnt seem like they are going to. Has anyone tried them, or own them to give me some advice on their fit, quality, etc... TIA!!
I bought my true size and it is a bit loose around the waist. However, going down a size, the top was too tight around my boobs.
I think $59 is a good price for it. I bought it at full price, which I believe was around $118, and I regret that I didn't wait for it to go on sale. On my body it is very low cut, and I have to wear something under it if I want to wear it to work. I often wear it with a white beater, which I like because it kind of tones down the feminine quality of the blouse a little bit. The color is kind of a peachy pink, which I have found difficult to incoroporate in my wardrobe. I usually wear it with a plum or gray blazer and trousers or a feminine skirt to work. I've also paired it with trouser jeans for a night out.
I guess it depends how many outfits you think you could create with it. I haven't found it to be as versatile as I had hoped, but that is more an issue w/ color than cut. I do think it is a beautiful, nicely constructed top.
FYI - It doesn't come up often, but I've seen it go for around $30 on ebay a couple times.
