I know this is the wrong forum, but I was hoping to get a response quick.  I was outbid on some Charlotte Beach Pants.  The individual who won them sent me this:


Hello, I outbid you on the Charlotte pants and received them...these happen to be to small for me. I was wondering if you would like to purchase them from me for 29.99 and I will pay the shipping? Let me know.


I want them, but how do I approach it?  She is a new member with no feedback other than when she bought these pants.  Can I just paypal her or should I have her put them on ebay with a buy it now option.  Any advice is appreciated !!

I think you need to have her put up an auction.  If you just paypal her, you don't get any of the protection that Ebay offers, and because she doesn't have any feedback I'd be extra careful.

ditto what elle said. I wouldn't do it outside of ebay.  you could send the money, she never sends the pants, and there's nothing you can do.

Hubby had a similar experience once.  The seller ended up putting up a Buy It Now auction and hubby just bought it that way so as to be protected.  HTH

just saw this- i agree with the other girls- have you tried on charlotte pants?  If yes, ignore this, but if no, they do run really small, so make sure its the right size.  I'm about a size 4 and  the mediums were too small.

I know they run small so these are a large and for $26 I figure I can try them.  If they don't work I will try to resell them on ebay.  Thanks for the tip!
