BR Dress Shirts for Larger Bust Sizes
Permalink Closed

I noticed on the website that Banana has come out with Dress Shirts with 2 extra inches in the bust!

Hallelujah!

Has anyone tried them?  I know that a lot of you on the forum like banana's dress shirts, can anyone give me a review?

I usually like my dress shirts fitted through the waist, because the boxy ones just don't look feminine enough.  Are these fitted?

I just saw this at the website yesterday and was about to ask the same question. I will have to make a detour today and check out BR. I'd love to have a shirt that fits through the shoulders that I can also button up at the chest.

I wish I could help, but I haven't seen or tried one on yet.  Actually the regular small works great for me and I have a 34D chest.

This is exciting news.  I am going to have to try them!  I love button down dress shirts for work, but I have a hard time finding ones that don't stretch over the chest area!!!! Thanks for posting!

Ooooh this is exciting! I wanted the Rebecca and Drew shirts that are sized by cup size, but I can't spend $100+ on a button down.

I might have to rethink the moratorium I have on buying from BR for these...do they come in lots of colors and patterns? The regular dress shirts fit anyone up to a D just fine and are pretty fitted. I'm a 34D and wear the small.

ETA: I have narrow-ish shoulders.

I find this too.  I was actually just in BR and I didn't even see an advertisement or display for the new ones.  I just bought one that I think is a regular one and it fits fine.

see, i can't at all.  i wear the same size, but BR's shirts gape widely across my chest--even more if they have stretch.  it must be the combo that i have of broad shoulders plus the bust size--i haven't bought a button-front shirt in years.  how sad!

I am back with a BR fuller front shirt. Not a lot of colors to choose from. I got the sand in a medium and it fits fine--fits well in the shoulders, back and waist, and buttons up the front. I am a 34 DD--very narrow ribcage, average shoulders.

I had to hunt for them--I was just about to ask where they were (the local BR is being remodeled so everything is crowded together) when I found them on a regular table.

They are 3/4 legnth in the sleeve--I hope they come out with longersleeves, as well as lots of colors.

The shirt also buttons over my less-than-flat stomach.
