-Chicken with Cashew Nuts
-Sesame Chicken made with white meat

LOL come to Los Angeles...it's the closest to the real thing you get in the US.

I really think we need to have an ST gathering at a dim sum place.

Jia's is takeout!!  We order to go from there all the time, we pick up sometimes, but they deliver as well

Nan's is pretty good - give it a shot.

I majorly heart sweet and sour shrimp, but only in california. Chinese food in Cali is so much better than here in New York. The use pineapple and the shrimp isn't battered and deep-fried.

(I also like Mexican food, but only from L.A. Folks in New York have no clue about making authentic Mexican. Good Dominican and Puerto Rican, though.)

Hunan Chicken without the chicken. The waitress always laughs at me, and  Ialways hear her laughing about it with the hostess and cook, but I like the veggie mix and blackbean sauce that they use. They do always try to sell me on the veggie delight with black bean sauce. Apparently I could save 80 cents, but it's a different mix of veggies and I really don't care about the 80 cents. The veggie mix is broccoli, red peppers, baby corn, straw mushrooms and waterchestnuts. I get it medium spicy, and I only get that at one particular place. If I say I want Chinese food, I actually mean "take me to the restaurant that serves Human Chicken, no chicken!"

Otherwise, I get a bowl of white rice and a few veggie spring rolls that I cut up and stir into the rice, and top with sweet & sour sauce. It's fool proof of everyother restaurant that doesn't have my dish, plus it's dirt cheap.
