Is This Too Matchy?

 BCBGirls 'Jossy' Slide

i have both the dress and the wedges, and i'm not sure if i like them together.  i feel like it might be too matchy.

i also have these wedges from last year...

Sam Edelman Dori

and i bought these this year.....

riverbed sandals

Three Questions:

1) should i return the first ones from bcbgirls?

2) if i wanted to wear any of the shoes, it's ok, right?  is it too matchy?

3) is this bag ok with it?  or is it too matchy?

it's like this but blue (i would wear a neutral shoe with it).

TIA!

it's not a bad combo at all but i wouldn't pair the first shoes with the first dress, b/c yes, i think it's too matchy - i like to wear things slightly mismatched anyway though -

that combo just reminds me of something i'd put a little girl in (very coordinated and cute-sy)

i like the bag though!

While they all work with the dress, I prefer the second and third pair.

so i will return the first pair (i forgot i had such a similar pair).

so is it ok to wear the dress with the second and third pair of shoes?  is it ok with the bag?  is it trying too hard? (i would wear EITHER the shoes or the bag, not both with the dress).

i'm scared i'm going to look like a child who's mom dressed them in oiliy.

I think the dress would look great with the second or third pair of shoes and that bag

I think both of those pairs of shoes look great with the dress.  Not to cutesy or matchy at all.  Just casual cool.  Not so sure about the bag, having a hard time picturing it in blue.

i agree with everyone else...no to the first, yes to the second and third. im not a big fan of the purse though.

if you wanted to break up the yellow of the dress to make it less matchy with the shoes...what about a brown belt over the dress? perhaps something loose around your hips, or even one of those newer obi like belts that are wider?

here's the bag i have...

thanks so much ladies.  i'll probably wear it with a denim jacket, and maybe even my light blue grail hoodie in the spring.

i like a lot of accessories that are patterned and sometimes i get freaked out that it's too matchy, and i wonder if i should stick to mixing it up with solids instead of prints/embroidered accessories.

Ok, that bag would totally work, it isn't at all what I had pictured in my head (I was thinking more electric blue ).  And you just need to trust yourself more, you know what you're doing, but of course that what your st girls are here for, for those freak out moments

I just wanted to say that the dress is awesome.  I'm partial to the first pair of shoes...but really that dress is a great color.  I like the mix of orange and turquoise, but that's just me.
