So, I think I have a great story to tell. However, I think I would be a horrible writer. After law school...my writing has become rather mechanical and uninspired. Do any of you know anything about writing books...or how to "license" it out or whatever you do if you'd want someone else to write your story?
ETA: I've heard about some ghostwriting services, but are they legit?
A friend of mine was a ghostwriter for years. She has a contract with the publishing house, and they aassign her to different authors. I dont' know if that's how it works, though. And I know what you mean about law school killing your writing...
Well, bad writing hasn't stopped authors from writing great books....Dan Brown, anyone?
But seriously, I do know how you feel about your writing being killed. Editing kids' papers is doing it to me. I think it would kill me to have someone else write "my" book, though. Could you work on it during the summer? Or when you're done with school?
