Opinions on skirt please!

It's cute, I guess. I don't know if I like it with that sweater though. I don't think I could wear it - long skirts just do not flatter me at all, so that could be part of my ambivalence.

I think it's cute in the picture, but I also can't wear long skirts and I can't tell if it's like 3/4 length or a fully long skirt. Does that make sense? Also, I can't stand yellow next to my legs. I think it could look cute with the right shirt/shoes, but I know it wouldn't fit in my wardrobe.

I really like that skirt. I actually prefer longer skirts for myself. My legs are pretty short and somehow shorter skirts make them look really stumpy.

I hate pale yellow but the warm shade on that skirt looks great. I think it would look cute with plum, too.

a couple of thoughts: it all depends on the length and the length of your legs. while i think the skirt is super cute it's definitely something you will want to try on irl before deciding on a purchase. i love the color though, its the perfect shade of yellow. i don't know about the blue sweater with it though. im having trouble picturing it in my head.

i went a little snoopy (nebby even..anybody recognize that term? ) and went through your old threadstyle posts. i think it would definitly work with your wardrobe and overall style. and i actually would love to see you work the green shoes in from this post:

perhaps with this shirt: cloudburst tank

but maybe there's some rule about stripes and ruffles?

Relrel, I love that outfit you put together! I was really having trouble visualizing something cute without being too bohemian, and I think it's perfect. Plus, I love it with the green shoes. I think I'm changing my opinion/vote about getting it!

How tall are you? I'd guess from your TS pics that you're about 5' 6" ish (give or take a couple inches)...you really need to try it on and see where it hits on your calves. If it doesn't hit at the widest part, then you should go for it...it's very cute and I fully endorse giving yourself a bit of wardrobe challenge.

Wow, you're good! I'm exactly 5'6". I think I'll see how long it is and see where it would hit on my calf before I order it. Grrr! I just wish we had an Anthro near me so I could try stuff on!!! It's so annoying!!!

I've been thinking about getting that top too. When shopchicago posted it for her outfit game I was surprised how versatile it is.

NC - I was at Anthro yesterday and saw your skirt. It's a little bit more of a mustardy yellow IRL than the soft yellow it looks on the website. Don't know if that makes a difference, but wanted to let you know.

Also - every friggin Anthro is sold out of that flower tee I/we want! The SA told me it is their #1 selling shirt right now! And it's backordered on the web until 5/12

Damn! I was hoping it was more of a sunshine yellow color instead of mustard! Well, that will free up $88 to spend on something else then!

That sucks about the tee too. May 12th?!?!?!?! That's a long time!!! Again, I'll just have to find something else I like.

Shopchicago33--Was the mustard like an ugly yellow? Or was it still cute? If you were me, would you buy it? I'm just curious because I'd still love to get it if it's still cute, but if the color's kinda gross, then I'll definitely pass.

It's hard for me to answer this, because the skirt isn't my style at all. If you really, really like the style of the skirt, go ahead and get it. It definitely wasn't a horrible pukey color! It was just more mustard than sunny yellow. If you're stuck on it, get it!
