I saw in someones post (to lazy to go back and check) about a skin regime that has worked well for you. I would be interested in hearing more, as I am constantly batteling with my skin, even post accutane.

I'm not Drew, but maybe you're thinking of the regime on acne.org?

That's it, rosey!

I follow acne.org's skin regimine, and add in the optional toner using a couple of drops of 100% pure tee tree oil on a wet cotton ball. I also purchase the gel 2% Benzoil Peroxide solution from the website and think it's the nicest product and very cheap considering how much you get.  I think each tube lasts me at least two, maybe three months.  I do the regimine twice daily, never missing the routine, no matter what.

In four months I had perfectly clear skin on my face.  I know it works, because I don't use it on my back and still break out on my back all the time.  (I don't use it on my back because Benzoil Peroxide WILL BLEACH YOUR CLOTHES/TOWELS/SHEETS, so I use Salysic (SP?) on my back and it works better than nothing).

ETA: Oh, by the way, it's CHEAP TOO!  I used to use very expensive products and these products work better (for acne) for so much less; you can get everything you need from the drugstore.

Drew-

I started this routine once for a few weeks and my skin flaked uncontrollably and would be a shade or two redder everywhere I put the BP gel.  Is this normal or just a weird reaction to the medicine?  I have since stopped.

That reaction can happen with BP (remember, it is a medicine), and when it does, you are supposed to only use it once a day, or every other day, until you build up a tolerance.  However, if the reaction is really bad, like anything else you shouldn't use it.  It's really too bad that stuff is so harsh on your skin because BP works really well.

Thanks for the info, I am going to have to look into that... I have tried everything else.
