so i went to the intermix sale, and it was meh. i went after work today, and they didn't really have much that was exciting. tons of jeans, but nothing that really stood out. i did pick up the kors beaverton boot, but other than that, i wouldn't make an effort to go.

on the other hand, the barney's sale was fantabulous. i went on thurs & fri and finally feel like i discovered the secret of the sale, go at the end! everything was 60% off, and i think they're going to have further reductions b/t now & sunday when the sale ends. (on thursday everything was only 50% off.)

they have tons of shoes, and a good selection of clothes. lots of going out tops, and a great selection of theory pants. it's busy, and there are no changing rooms, but definitely worth the hassle.

I went to the intermix sale, too - just stopping by on my way to Anthro. I definitely agree with you. I didn't see anything I liked and I just thought I was too late and all the nice stuff was already gone. I didn't really have any expectations because I've never been before but it was pretty much a disappointment.

hope you get this b/f you leave. the entrance is on 17th b/t 7th & 8th (not the regular co-op entrance) there should be people standing outside but if not it's a gray door.

intermix had a good selection of sizes and when i went yesterday the racks were marked by size, which makes it easier to rifle through. i can't remember the exact price ranges but they had sevens (a-pockets with pearls & studs) for around $130 and antiks for around $160. i would think that they're cheaper today.
