Make-Up Storage

I was wondering how must of you store or keep your make-up stored? I need some creative, or better ideas on how to keep mine; right now (like most of jewelry), it is stored in those 3-drawer containers in the bathroom, but there's probably a better way to store them. Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I use a small makeup bag from target for my everyday makeup. That works well for me so when I get kicked out of the bathroom I can move it all easily. I have quite a bit of not so everyday make up as well. For that I use a train case, because my bathroom is smaller than most peoples closets.

When I actually had drawers and storage in my bathroom I found different sized basket type containers, some were long and narrow for pencils and another for brushes, then some more square shapes for eyeshadows etc. I thought that worked well, I kinda miss it.

We have a few bathrooms around here and I have my own so I don't get kicked out, but I use a train case from Sephora.

It's really big and roomy and was an investment, I am sure you can find something similiar on Ebay if you don't want to drop Sephora's price.

It's portable and I love it and I take it on every car travel/trip I go on. Now flying is another story...

I use a three drawer container from Rubbermade.

-one drawer: shadows, liners, mascara, lipgloss in pots
-drawer two: blushes, powders, foundation, bronzers, etc
-drawer three: random things, glitter, flase eyelashes, eyelash curler, unopened things

then in the medicine cabinet I have a cup holding my makeup brushes and another holding lipgloss sticks and lip pencils. It works really well for me, I always know where everything is.
