I've been lusting over that for a long time.  The Marc Jacobs is divine and if I had the cash I'd get it in a heartbeat.  The JCrew doesn't hold a candle to the MJ in my opinion.  Sorry to enable .  Crossing my fingers that there'll be a knockoff on ShopSuey soon.

They JCrew ones aren't bad IRL...I'm not sure I'd want to pay $1300 for a white bag...I'd be too afraid to take it out...but then again I just love that MJ style...I've been "visiting" the brown one at Bloomies...wish I could be of more help.

Although the JCrew bag is nice, I don't really think it has anything in common with the MJ one except that it's white leather. The JCrew is more structured and doesn't have all the detailing (grommets/studs, whatever they are) of the MJ.

So I would say that it is not the look for less, but the JCrew is still a nice bag.
