Ladies I'm going to Costa Rica in eight days and I plan to do quite a bit of hiking/walking. I'm taking my pumas, but I want to pick up a pair of comfy sandals and need recommendations. I don't even know where to start. I've been too focused on stacked heels lately to look at anything comfy - what's new huh :) Thanks!

when i lived in costa rica, i think i wore these almost everyday. they are the best! they're perfect for everything. the strap around the toe helps your foot from sliding (great for hiking, biking, kayaking, etc..). my bf and i do a ton of kayaking and these are amazing because they stay on your feet, and offer a ton of support while still being water proof.
the ONLY negative is that they give you crazy tan lines.
enjoy your trip. post a review when you get back, i'm interested to hear where you went. i love costa rica.

doc martins makes some very comfy sandals. they are not all that great looking, but if you are going to be hikink in them, i don't think you would care about the look of them.
the brand is chaco. when i lived in costa rica, i think i wore these almost everyday. they are the best! they're perfect for everything. the strap around the toe helps your foot from sliding (great for hiking, biking, kayaking, etc..). my bf and i do a ton of kayaking and these are amazing because they stay on your feet, and offer a ton of support while still being water proof. the ONLY negative is that they give you crazy tan lines. enjoy your trip. post a review when you get back, i'm interested to hear where you went. i love costa rica.
Chacos are the best for outdoor active stuff! I would definitely go with those:).
