hanger recs?

i need to make some space in my tiny closet because i don't have room to hang everything that i'd like to hang.  so i'm looking for recommendations for tier hangers for skirts and such - like this

4 Tier Swing Arm with Clips - Multiple Skirt Hanger

i want decent quality, i don't care so much about looks - function is key here.  i've also seen the ones without the clips, but i'm not sure that's what i want - i like to be sure things are staying where i put them, not falling on the floor because i hit them while pulling something else out of the closet.

does anyone have any of these types of hangers that they looove or any bad experiences with any?

tia

i've used those before, and i feel like it's hard to get them off and put them back on.  i use these because i got them free from work.  they're cheap, and they can be be water-falled.

here they are from www.thecontainerstore.com (i use the first one, and the last one)

i've also seen these SUPER cheap on ebay.

There is this one thing you can get that has a hook then hangs down with 6 holes to put 6 hangers down vertically.

Also these can be usefull:

I love these hangers that you posted.  I use to get them at walmart but now I can't find them.  I tried the ones at target but the clips are plastic and mine broke before I got them to the parking lot!!!   Where did you find these??

I have some just like that and also the pants ones (without the clips).  I got mine at Linens and things or Bed, bath and beyond (don't remember which one).  I have been pleased with mine.  They are very sturdy, one of my pants ones has like 6 pairs of jeans on them.  They do help with space issues to a degree, but they still can get fat depending how much you pile on.  Oh, and the skirt one with clips is harder to put things on and off because of the clips, but the pants one, the arm just swings and you can slide things off and on.  Hope this helps.

I have some from the Container Store and Kmart. I prefer regular non-tiered hangers but for college these are extremely useful. No complaints about them at all.
