so i watched the 2nd to last episode of dancing with the stars when my bf was out of town, so i HAD to watch the finale.....
i half jokingly asked my bf if he would take dancing classes with me (he's pretty good at weddings), and he said he would. I WAS SHOCKED!
i'm super excited (yay, an excuse to buy flowy dresses and skirts), and i want to get on it before he changes his mind. i also want to do it before summer (we're gonna try our hand at tennis this summer).
anyone do this (even if it was for your wedding?). any suggestions? recommendations, etc...
i am thinking we want like salsa or mambo lessons and definitely beginner/fun classes.
gingembre1-you're into salsa....do you have anything to add?

aww yes... 'cept that you are the fabulous city mouse while i am the homely country one!!!
We took dance classes twice - once just for fun, and once before our wedding.
For the first go around, we signed up for a 6 week beginner class where we went once a week for a hour. For the first four classes we learned a different type of dance, then the last 2 were reviews of what we learned. I think we learned the foxtrot, waltz, swing and cha-cha.
It was hilarious, and I highly recommend it. Plus it's nice to have a few dance steps for slow songs instead of swaying back and forth. We always bust out a few moves at weddings
