So I just bought my good friend a 5 piece placesetting of her flatware for a shower, it come in this little box and looks so dinky. It was $40 though, so what can I add to it for around $5-10 that would coordinate cute with flatware? This would be something extra to give the present some flair, not from her actual registry. Also if anyone has some cute wrapping ideas? TIA!

How about some fun napkin rings, or pretty kitchen towels?  You could also look for a fun drawer insert that holds silverware - Target or Pier One gets some fun ones; bamboo, wicker, metal mesh...

Hope these are some good ideas

Go to a book store and get some cookbooks.  They make cute ones for couples or love themed.  I got this really great one from Crate and Barrell for my shower called The Bride and Groom Cookbook.  Or, maybe you can find some leftover stuff from V-day like heart shaped cookie cutters and pans, since you are giving her something for her kitchen.  For wrapping, go to your local craft store and get some ribbon and matching colored silk flowers to decorate the top of the box with.  I loved these when I got them cause I did the traditional "plate of ribbon" bouquet to use at my rehersal.
