My New Bag, A ? & Pointer from Coach Specialist
Permalink Closed

Well, I finally made a decision between the 2 Coach patchwork bags.  I ended up with the tote (minus the bow in the picture which was from the Coach website) and I absolutely love it.  It is so beautiful and although I know alot of you termed it a 'fall/winter' bag, I think I'll use it year-round depending on the outfit, etc.  I think the metallic, animal print & purples make it pretty versatile.  I am so NOT a purple person, but it's just the right amount.  It is really yummy and I am SO happy.  Thanks for your opinions that you posted.

I have one last question - Do I leave the little Coach hangtag on it?  I would take it off, but is that the 'appropriate' thing to do?

.

Forgot to add what the Coach Specialist at Nordstrom told me... she said on the totes that if you have any intention of ever lengthening the straps to do it and 'try it out' while they are brand new.  That way you can see determine the handle length that you like before the handles have any indentations in them that develop over the time over the buckles.  I just lengthened mine all the way to try it out for a couple of days.

Whatever floats your boat as far as the tag goes.  And I can see how you could use that bag year round...

I agree w/Drew - it's totally up to you whether you leave the tag or not.  I have quite a few Coach bags and I've always left them on, but that's my personal preference.  Cute bag by the way!

I got it for Christmas and have carried it everyday since.  I love it!! It's my favorite bag of all time and I get so many compliments on it!! I left the tag on it.  I think it's cute!! Glad you like it!

My friend who works at Coach says the tag is meant to just be a tag, just like any label.  So it's meant to be taken off, but I don't think it really matters.  I leave mine on still anyway.

I just added the pointer that the Coach Specialist told me about the handles.  Hope you find it helpful.

personally i would take the tag off.  I do think they look like a hangtag.  you can always put it back on if you miss it.
