I've had this Betsey Johnson top in my cart at Urban for awhile, but I'm not sure if I should get it. I'd wear it as daywear in the summer, maybe with destroyed jeans and the Bernardos I plan to buy... just to downplay the whole bedroom feel. But still, is it too much? Should I just pass on this one?

i actually think you could get away with it if the shirt wasn't so long. the length is what makes it look like lingerie, imo. the back open and color isn't as bad as the length. but if you are worried...could you just wear it with a jacket or little shrug? you couldn't wear it in the summer if it was too hot, but during the spring with a jacket might be cute.

plus...if you are having this much trouble deciding on whether or not you can get away with it, you more than likely won't wear it that much, if at all. i think it might be one of those things where you like the shirt and the outfit but just can't put it on and walk out of the house in it where people could see you in it. ya know?

i think it would look cute if you wear it the way you described.  i think it would be "too much"  if you wore it with some other risque items..  like a mini or super high heels.

If you're a small B or less, I think it would be cute the way you described.

I think it is too bedroom-y, sorry.

i guess it depends on the person. i know some people can downplay it while others can't.

i'd be too shy to wear something like that but i think it's perfectly fine for beachy weather places.

See, this is exactly why I can't decide... everything everyone has said keeps crossing my mind. I think I'll just pass, because even if I got it and it didn't look too bedroom-y, I'd probably be shy wearing it and, therefore, wouldn't wear it often. Thanks for the feedback
