miss sixty yellow shoes review

just a heads up on the miss sixty: they were no good.

while the coloring and little brown apple thing were perfect...the rest of the shoe isn't so great. they are pretty pointy, with a slight curl at the toes which makes them elf-like. and the sole is wider than the actual shoe part, so quite a bit of the brown shoes around the edges of the shoe when looking down on them on your foot. the stiching is done pretty poorly, not really tight at all and looks cheap. there is no support or cushioning in the shoe either so it's definitely not a comfortable shoe. and one more thing...the sole is just plain funky. it's a wierd material so not only is there no traction on the bottom and is super slippy but is a plastic?wood? material so it makes noise in a not so good way. not like a high heel click clack but something different.

the fit is so-so. i probably would have kept them if it wasn't for the above details. they are slightly not tight enough on the sides of my feet, i guess the shoes are wider than average. but it wasn't a terrible fit. they only come in half sizes, and had to get an eight instead of a seven and a half which might explain the slightly too wide fit.

so...very very cute in picture, not so great in real life. not worth the $78 or so dollars they were. if they were less than $50, i *might* change my mind about them. but for now...they are going back to zappos.

That sucks!  I loved them too!  Thanks for the review and I'm sorry they didn't work out for you.  The hunt for yellow shoes continues.

I never understood why shoe makers would sometimes curl up the toe.  What in the world is up with that?

Bummer about the shoes, because they are adorable in the photo.
