I wasn't sure where to post this but I figured I would post here because it is shopping related.  Did you know that you can do a mall version of a "Tupperware" (or Pampered Chef, etc) party?  I thought I would pass the word because although I am not normally a fan of doing "those" kinds of parties, I DID do a Homegoods party a few months ago and it was really up my alley.  The way it worked was I went to my local Homegoods store (it is kind of like a TJ Maxx for home goods) and signed up for what they called a "Shopping Frenzy" party.  They do the party on a Sunday evening between 6-8 pm.  They open the store to only you and your invited guests.  You give them a list of all of the people you want to invite along with their addresses and they send them an invitation along with a 10% coupon to use the night of the party.  The best part is that for every person that comes you get money toward a Homegoods gift certificate.  The most you can get is $150 if 15 or more people come.  The best thing is that you don't have to do anything but show up.  The store also serves punch, water and cookies.  It was great fun, not a lot of effort and quite worth it for a free $150 gift certificate!
