So I'm sure other people have noted this already and that I am just totally behind the curve....but, I was dumb enough to buy the Emerald Stila Smudge Pot from beauty.com and was totally disappointed.  It's black people, freakin' black.  At best a green tinged black...but still black!  GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Oooh, that sucks. I think the reviews said the purple and green ones weren't as good as the black/grey/brown for some reason. I almost bought that one too. Stila has a really nice dark green eyeshadow, though, if you want to try something else.

I have it in Amethyst and it's beautiful!  It looks really bright in the jar, but it actually looks pretty subtle on. 


That's weird that the emerald is so dark.  It looks pretty on the site.  Does beauty.com do returns?

this is the picture they have on sephora.  it doesn't look anywhere near black.  that sucks that the pics are so missleading.  i love the grey smudge pot.
