help me find dresses from lucky!

I am getting sick of Lucky showing some adorable dress, making me crave it, and then listing some obscure phone number I'd have to call. I don't want to call some random store in California or whereveer - I just want to click and buy!

I am looking for:

~ Twelfth St Cynthia Vincent blue/brown striped dress, March Isssue, p. 71. I really must must have this. The colors are awesome.

~ Mavi puff sleeve shirtdress, March p. 230 (they say it's on Mavi's site - they lie). The price is so great and it would be so cute for work...

Also. Glamour is pulling that crap as well. There's a pink and white striped Tommy shirtdress in the March issue (p. 110) that is not on the Tommy site, as they claim. Sigh. (In case you can't tell, I am all about shirtdresses for work clothes this year! I am LOVING the bilingual shirtdress from ravinstyle that was in the Feb lucky breaks...)

I have been looking for that same Mavi shirt dress!!  It's adorable and a good price, but I can't find it either.  Let me know if you happen to find it, I'll keep looking as well.

So I have been looking for the same dress too. I think magazines get this stuff waaay in advance, so even when the mags come out, the stuff they feature isn't even out yet. This morning I googled it and came up with this message on the Lucky message boards. Apparently we're not the only ones looking for the dress...

"Cool! I called the New York store and they currently have it in denim, but will come out with Red and Khaki in April. They put me on the list and said they would call as soon as it's available. The dress can be purchased via telephone and then they will ship for free to me in California.

Here is the number if you are interested: (917) 289-0520"

I've been looking for that red Mavi one too! They do lie, it's not on the website.

I called the store number above (thanks, Jamiek, for posting it!) and put my name on the list to get the red one. However, the saleswoman told me it won't be in store until May, not April. A khaki one will be available in April.

I am sorry, I have no idea where to find the dress, but I just wanted to add how I also hate how they provide numbers and not websites. It is so annoying.

everytime i have hunted something down from lucky- it was not even available for several months after i received the magazine.


case in point, a boutique i shop at just got in an item that was featured in the lucky with nicole ritchie on the cover (was that last month's?)

Well, it is the March issue, so it's not lying until it's March and you don't see it on the website.  But I have yet to find the Tommy vest and it is indeed February and no where to be found, so who knows.
