So I've been in my current house for about a year and a half now and my bedroom is still an incomplete project.  My inspiration is a Key West theme.  Beachy, happy, bright.  My wall color is similar to this...


  but a little bit lighter.  All my trim, etc. is white.  My carpet color is insignificant b/c it's temporary for right now.  My dressers are a medium brown color - but I plan to paint them later, so everything's pretty flexible.  I just can't seem to find anything that suits me.  Any ideas???

I want to paint my bedroom that color!  I hate the color I currently have, it's too dark for my taste.  I should of had a say in it but whatever, I will change it hopefully soon.


I remember seeing this on Get Color:


Click here for a larger image   On tv, the walls seemed more like the color you are talking about.  White or ivory bedding and dark wood furniture.  I don't care for the rug they used, also they previewed a darker wood floor which I thought looked better than what they decided on.  It gave better contrast to the walls.

I have a similar color in my bedroom (and similar theme) and I have this set from Crate & Barrel but in a light tan color.  They don't have the tan on the website anymore but I was just in the store this past weekend and they still have it in the store.
