My $0.02:
Since the LV wallet is 1/3 of the price of the Chanel bag, I would rather continue saving to get the bag.

I'll be the odd man out here and say to go for the wallet. . . you can use it everyday for years and carry it in every purse you own!  That just sounds fabulously luxurious to me.

It depends.  If your getting the wallet to go with an LV handbag you have I would get the wallet.  However, you really can't go wrong with either.  LV and Chanel are very classic.

I have the Speedy 30. I have a nice wallet, but eventually it will need to be replaced!

my first reaction to that new pic was "oh", but said in a really breathless sort of sigh more like "oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". that purse is beautiful. and i don't usually get all goose pimply over designer purses but wow. it looks so soft and so elegant and so everlasting. yeah, save your little heart out for that purse. ramen noodles all year until it's yours, whatever it takes. that purse is perfection.
