Food Processor Owners.....
Permalink Closed

Do you use it your food processor ? And what type do you have?

I am thinking about getting one, mainly because I want to make hummus. Yes, that is a lot of money to spend just so I can make a dip!! Really, I would like something to chop, grate, etc. So, looking for comments, reccomendations, etc. Thanks!!

We got one specifically to make hummus! Ours is the Cuisinart Smart Power Duet. It has attachments for a food processor and a blender. It's a smaller food processor, but perfect for us since we really just use it for hummus right now. I love it, I think it was around $70. The only thing I don't like is that it's pretty loud.l Hope that helps!!

I have a cuisenart and love it. It's pretty big, but has handled every job I've thrown it's way. It is great at making dips and sauces, and my husband uses it to mill regular oatmeal into oatflour. Yes, it gets it very fine. It is a little on the pricey side for making hummous, but you will find plenty of other uses for it, plus I think it's something that everybody needs in their kitchen, making a good quality one an important purchase.
