I thought Nick totally would've done a great job if he was there. I was SO shocked they all turned on Chloe though. It made me sad.

I think the right 3 people are in except for Nick but I would have had a hard time deciding between Nick and Chloe if it had come down to it. Daniel is fantastic, Santino is at least entertaining. I think Nick will win it all though.

i completely agree! i was totally UNDERWHELMED! i thought the only obvious pick was Daniels but he should have done something more to it...added a little something to make it interesting, it just looked like a prom dress to me. and to think...they had $300 to spend!!
kara's was absolutely awful and i agree that nick should have been there this week. oh and isn't it interesting how we didn't notice the wrinkles and hem on kara's dress until the zoomed in on it, kinda makes you wonder what all of them look like up close.
all in all, i am excited to see what the three finalists come up and i am still rooting for daniel!

oh...and on a side note, now i love Michael Kors just as much as the next girl, but what was going on w/the orange tan!! it was so awful, thats all i could think about every time they showed him. his coloring was just very strange, very oompa-loompa

Wishful thinking? I'm upset that Nick is gone, too. I loved him as much as some of you girls love Daniel. Thank God Kara didn't make the final, like Wendy Pepper did last season. I'm still bitter about that. Kara wouldn't even of had the drama element of Wendy vs. Kara Saun.

I agree with everyone else, very underwhelming. The butt on Chloe's was terrible.

I just want to say thank you all. My best friend loves this show, and it is just not my thing. Sometimes I read the posts just to see what is going on. So tonight she was telling me about the show, and this guy she really hated, and I said that sounds like Santino. She was amazed that I knew this. I did have to confess that I learned about it here, and the only reason I remembered his name is because that is my ex's sons name. She already said that I was full of random knowledge....I proved her right agian. (Thought this was funny) I faked a project funway!!

I saw it last night as well, and agree that IF Santino would've stopped while he was ahead, it would have been a GREAT dress! LOL I also was shocked at how they turned on Chloe, but hey, that's them! LOL Kara - oh Kara. Her dress did NADA for me, they saw that her hem was uneven, and some other things, so I'm kind of glad she was OUT. Now we shall see what happens at Fashion Week, but I too think Daniel will win.

I'm glad chloe wasn't out- I was really scared for a few minutes! The dresses were all boring though. You'd think that would be the most exciting challenge... what designer doesn't dream of evening gowns?

eh, it was a boring ep. I don't really have more comments. But Santinos did remin me of a turkey.

well, we obviously all saw the runway shots from all 4 shows.

how FUNNY was it that when Michael Kors asked Kara if she made the dress she wore that night, she said yes, and he said it was more entertaining than the one she created for the runway.

FUNNY how that dress had the SAME EXACT color block pattern she used in her entire runway show! kara had no imagination and she should have been gone a long time ago.

and didn't kara-san (is that how you spell her name? i can't remember) start saying towards the end she didn't want it either (a la chloe last night) and then became the most conniving competitor of them all?

i was surprised by the way they turned on chloe too. part of me thinks she dug her own grave by being all non-chalant about it. that sort of attitude annoys me, and i kind of would've been pissed to hear her be all like "oh i've been there done that." why are you there then, your spot could go to someone who really wants it.

that being said, i also think it's a competition thing. i think it was obvs to everyone that kara was dead weight so it makes it easier to oust chloe. also i think chloe and daniel have similar styles, so if i were daniel i could see saying i'd take over the top drama queen and dead weight for the final 3 so i have this competition in the bag.

Blah. Totally disappointing. All the dresses were bad and I wish Chloe would have gone. I think she's an idiot. I saw this one clip on the Bravo website where Daniel and Nick were talking about coming out and stuff and she was just being so obnoxious and kept saying shit like, "Oh I have gay friends! They're fun! My friends are gay! I have this one gay friend who's so interesting!" Literally. What an idiot. I felt like her blabbering on yesterday was kind of along the same lines. Plus her dress sucked.

I actually liked Kara's dress best. Despite the bad hem it had the best design otherwise. The racerback was a good Kara twist, though I have no idea why she would use black for this challenge.

I like Chloe and I'm glad she stayed. She was one of my favorites from the very beginning but I'll admit last night's dress was underwhelming. BUT it was better than Santino's and Kara's.

Did anyone else think Santino said, when Daniel won the competition and came backstage, that HE had won the competition? I thought that's what he said and I was like, "oh, no you didn't!" Hee.

Okay, don't hate me but I kind of liked Santino's dress. I thought it was unique and different and pretty. It possibly had too many sequins to be worn to a movie premiere or something but not to the Oscars. But what do I know?

I know exactly what you're saying bex, I don't think Kara put as much effort into her runway show since she wasn't in the final three, and basically just copied her dress idea (ugh...)

The dresses were definitely underwhelming, everyone played it safe, even when Tim was telling chloe the butt on the dress looked awful, she kept it anyways. Kara's dress was not even close to her design philosophy, and that was part of the challenge! I mean there were no colors or prints. Bleh. They weeded out the interesting people beforehand, I miss guadalupe, she definitely had a point of view, though her designs didn't always turn out that well, neither does Santino's but they appreciated his creativity?? I totally don't think any of them hold a candle to last season, I mean in one episode Kara Saun whipped up a whole three piece outfit plus a jacket! These people don't have the same skills in speed and time management.

P.S. Can't wait for Project Jay! Eeek!

I total agreement. This season has been a big yawn in my opinion. I think Daniel is boring, Santino is interesting but tacky, Chloe is just OK and Kara doesn't have a mind of her own.

I'm probably in the minority here but I enjoyed her runway show. I really wish the other Daniel could have stuck around longer. I liked the way he tailored his pieces and I think he could have done well..

on another note...luckily Iman is one bad a$$ woman..she coule make a sack look hot, so Daniel's little boring creation looked nice on her

i just watched -- blecchhh, the dresses were horrible. i was expecting the judges to say that there was no winner, b/c they all either put them to sleep or induced seizures.

that said, i thought the top of santino's dress was beautiful and perfect -- if he had only calmed down with the skirt. made it more simple with a touch of the sequin things in the back or something. or maybe a belty sashy thing of them that trailed down the back ...

yes, i think santino totally thought that he had won when daniel came back from the runway. that was classic.

i think they were justified in turning on chloe (although i don't think kara and daniel would have if santino hadn't started it. and i think santino may have said kara should go if chloe hadn't picked him first.) how pissed would you be if you were working your arse off for something you wanted so badly, and someone who, from past performance, is definately some of your toughest competition, is so non-chalant about it? i mean, imagine, they were probably envisioning her winning and then just going back to her life before and not taking full advantage of what she earned.
