Which Sweater? & Sizing ?
Permalink Closed

Tati's Delia's thread has inspired me - which Delias sweater do I need?  I love both, and they aren't that expense, so techincally I can afford both.  Also, how does Delia's sizing run - I'm normally a small in tops @ BR, Gap, Express, etc.

#1  $29

#2  $26

i love number two, and number one seems like it could have teenybopper potential. perhaps its just the picture but it seems like a younger outfit.

and sizing....i always get a large in delias and im usually a medium to large in all other stores. express is a medium, urban is a large. ive felt that delias always runs a tad small, especially in the arms. but that could just be my sexy jiggly arms that's making the sleeves tight.

I initially liked both, but after relrel saying #1 looked teeny bopperish... I can sort of see that now... So id have to go with #2.

No help on sizing though...

I love #2! My sister has it. She had a small initially which was too big for her but looked like it would fit me (I am usually an xs, sometimes s in most stores). I'd do small if you're a B cup or smaller, a medium if you're bigger than a b. HTH!

#2 is cute! I think I would size up since it's junior sizing. I wear a small at BR but usually take a M in junior clothing. But I, like relrel, have jello arms.

I voted for both.  I actually like 2 a lot better and think it would so great on you, but I also voted for 1 because I think you could do a lot with it, considering your wardrobe.

I've always worn an M in Delias stuff...the clothes are def. juniors sized.

I really like both sweaters for their different vibes. They fill completely different needs in one's wardrobe. #1 is not a teenybopper sweater! I think that sweater can look totally chic and sophisticated with the right outfit.

I'm happy to enable you further

Thanks Lilykind - I was looking for someone to enable me to buy both!  You and jacL are doing a good job.  I really really like #1, it looks like something I would wear.  I think I'll order both - for the price, why not.  Ok, I normally wear a small, and have a 34C chest - I think a M would work, right?

I can't imagine why it wouldn't, but maybe you might want to ask Escrime...I know she's ordered stuff from Delias recently and is about the same size as both of us (ok is that weird that i can remember the sizes of people I don't even know?)
