I love that vest.  Eunny is so talented, I'm in awe of her skills.  Have you done a sweater with a steek before?  I want to do this vest too, but I'm a virgin to steeks.

Of the colors you've shown, I think I like the brown and pink best.

You're reading my mind! I've been eyeing that pattern the last two days and the knitpicks yarn. I've been considering brown and light pink myself, but that's just because I like pink so much. I also like the blue and gray.

Brown & pink. Hee hee - that is really cute.

I do like the brown & yellow too though.

i'm a steek virgin too. :) but i figure the end product will be enough motivation to make me try a new technique, and her instructions look incredible!

Definitely!  My project list is too long to add another item right now, but please report back and let us know how it goes.

Before I even seen your color choices I thought it would look adorable in brown/light pink!

Kate, are you doing the knitalong on craftster? If not, check out this link & if you need help I find the girls there really helpful & great - much like this board. Sorry if this is old news but I found this when I was looking at my current knitalong & i'm really enjoying it - and I thought of you & this post.

laken1, i am addicted to craftster!!! the problem is it makes the list of projects i want to knit and sew SO long and i just have no time...just what i can squeeze in on the bus and late at night before bed. :( i am waiting for my yarn and it will probably take awhile before i can start (have to finish some socks and mittens first, as presents), but then i'll hopefully be able to join the knitalong.

what knitalong are you doing? are you doing the knitting olympics? :)

thanks everyone for your input! i went with the blue and light grey combo...love brown and pink but decided it isn't as "me" and i'd probably find the blue more versatile.

I am indeed. I actually finished the knitting on my project yesterday, I just have to do my finishing - obviously it wasn't as challenging as I thought - but I did learn some new techniques - I'm mostly a scarf knitter. I'm bijouxmaster over there so you can see my project (berrocco toshiko tote). I also have a pretty sad blog....I'm such a beginner nerd
