i just have to share how happy i am -- i made my little spring wish list back in january and one of the first things i put on there was the ella moss topeka dress in the pretty green color that shopbop was selling. i was waiting to buy that until a big invitation order payment came through and when i finally went to shopbop this weekend to score my dress i was so sad to find they were sold out! so i called SB CS to see if they would be getting more of them and not only did they say they wouldn't, but they also told me (and i was unaware of this) that ella moss only makes a certain number of all their items each season. so i ran to bloomies to see if they had it - no dice. same with olive & bettes. then i started scouring the web and stalking ebay with no luck.
today on a whim i decided to do one more google search for a store that sells it and *bingo* i found one! so i plunked down my plastic immediately and now this lovely spring item is on its way to my door. i am so happy! :)

Ooh, green is my favorite color, and I buy kelly green pretty much whenever I can find it. I think thats a cute dress. You could wear it with a cute white cotton sweater for cooler days in the spring. I also see it with brown accessories, like a nice brown belt and cute brown heel sandals... not like you need the advice, but there you go.
Hurray! That is a great dress and totally you. I also think it would look great with some jeans or cigarette pants (isn't that what they call those fitted capri things).
I fell in love with that dress when I was doing my fake Shopbop shopping spree. Mandy - if you just Google "Ella Moss topeka dress" or "Ella Moss smocking dress" you'll come up with a bunch of hits. It seems like most places just have it in black.
