Frizzy Hair

What do you girls do to tame frizzy hair. Mine lately has been so bad that i have been just wearing my hair up all the time. I normally blame the frizz on humidity, but we have been having none lately, and I still have frizz. It makes me feel like a slob or something. Anyone want to share any tips? Thanks

Is your hair dry?  Maybe try a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.  I always thought my hair was oily, but really it's dry.  Since I've changed my shampoo and conditioner, I've found my hair isn't as frizzy as it used to be.

Organic almond oil works wonders!! It doesnt leave my hair oily, gives is a nice shine and works better than any other frizz control product out there on the market!

After I shower I use the oil as my leave in conditioner, i put up my hair (dont brush since that only worsens the problem)  the next morning my hair is soft and smooth and shiny to boot!

Also, try only washing your hair every other day.

wasn't it you who said you might try phytologie phytodefrisant!?  do it!

once i did, it totally changed my life - i know that sounds stupid, but really, it did (frizzy hair sucks!)

also, believe it or not, the more i use it, i notice some seemingly permanent effects - if i skip a day (well, i used it after washing, which might be every two or three days) my hair is still not as frizzy as it used to be, thanks to this stuff - truly a miracle product

I have thick wavy hair. I would love to wear it down but it looks like crap. I wash my hair every other day, with shampoo for dry hair ( I read this in a magazine, that it should help prevent frizz on thick hair) and I also do a deep conditioner like 2X's a week.

I used Infusium 23 shampoo and conditioner (for dry/damaged hair).

After the shower I use the almond oil and just rub that in my hair. I leave it up in ponytail and then in teh morning all my frizzies are gone.

I also only wash my hair every 3rd day. That helps me a lot. I have extrememely dry/curly/frizzy hair.

Do you you straighten your hair often?

OH! To answer your question, i find almond oil in the regular old oil aisle at Safeway.I read about it a long time ago in some fashion magazine and I have been using it since. I also use it as an eyemakeup remover.

I barely straighten my hair, I only do it when there is a special occassion. I like to wear my hair wavy because it is less time consuming, my hair looks awesome in a pony tail with the waves. But I want to live it down more, and that is when it looks like crap. So i need to learn how to wear it wavy. I am defintely going to buy that oil this weekend when i go to the store. Thanks for all the help. can i pm you if i have any other questions?

I get my hair colored with my natural color and a layer of shine. The shine helps to control the freeze. It works on me I get frizz around the short hair forhead area.
