need a new denim skirt

i have a gap denim pencil skirt from about 4 years ago that needs to be retired, sadly. so i'm in the market for a new denim skirt - at/above knee length (not a mini), medium wash, maybe with stretch - anyone purchase one recently that you love?

i haven't tried this on, so i can't vouch for it, but i saw it the other day instore and it looked cute--pretty simple lines but still unique. it came in some other (lighter) washes as well.

I don't know what exactly you are looking for, but I got this 7 skirt from Nordstrom recently, and I love it.  I'm already wearing it now, and I can see it being a spring/summer staple.

I love that one.  Oddly enough, I have a skirt that I bought 4 yrs ago from Gap that looks very similar.

rar210, is there a store near you? i think they had it in a medium wash, a dark denim wash, and a black-ish one (which looks like the one online), but i wasn't sure if there was actually a difference between the dark denim and the black ones (if that makes sense), or if i was just making it up. in any case, they all definitely had the texture of denim. hope that helps...

poptart - thanks for posting my review!  karina - i say if you are at least 5'6 it will fit perfect - I'm 5'7 and it hits right around the knee like on the model and the waist fits TTS.  All of you girls who are lusting over this skirt - have to get it!!  It's the perfect denim skirt!!!

hey smash!  Is that the Gap skirt that you inspired a bunch of us to get back in the day?!  I still have it too!  I can't believe how long it's been.  Time sure has flown by...it's good to know we're still around!
By the way, I love that seven skirt too.  It's on my wishlist :)
