Denim Skirt in the winter?
Permalink Closed

I have a dark denim skirt that comes down right below my knees and has a front slit.

Would i be able to wear this now (winter)?  And how could i make it work? Id like to wear it to school tomorrow (so sick of jeans!), and its suppose to be like 50 tomorrow...

I was thinking just a black turtleneck, black tights and black t strap wedges? But they are kind of high.

Or Black kitten heel boots?

Any ideas, please?

I have a dark denim pencil and I LOVE to wear it in winter. Here's an example:

The pic is kind of dark, but I'm wearing a beater, cashmere hoodie, tights and boots (black).

You could also put a chunky sweater with that same ensemble.

Do you think a black turtleneck is too boring?

As I mentioned, you can easily put a chunky sweater with that same outfit.

If I were doing a black turtleneck or a plain black sweater (I don't wear turtlenecks, actually), I'd put some bold piece of jewelry - big necklace or earrings - with that outfit to jazz it up a bit. Are your tights patterned?

I wear my denim skirt a lot even in the winter.  I say pair it with the boots (that's what I generally do).  And I don't think the black t-neck is too boring, just maybe sling a belt over it or wear a cool scarf or of course some cool earrings.

I agree w/FashionPrincess - I wear my denim skirt a lot in the winter.  I like to pair it w/boots and tights, and agree that the black turtleneck and tights will look nice - I think it's classic.  Maybe some patterned tights?  That's usually what I do.
